Staying at Sensatori Tenerife | My Completed Bucket List ♡

Hey guys! If you’ve been on my blog before you’d know that it’s just one giant bucket list (my official ultimate bucket list can be found here.)

Which by the way, I update all the time by adding things on and ticking things off so I recommend checking somewhat regularly for never ending inspiration for creating (or adding to) your own bucket list.

Every time I’ve completed something on my bucket list I’ll be writing a blogpost about it.

239) Stay at Sensatori Tenerife

Ever since visiting the sensatori resort in Crete a few years ago, I knew that I really had to try another Sensatori resort out. Sensatori is a collection of TUI holidays and honestly these places are CLASS.

I’ve always been particularly drawn to the Tenerife Sensatori so this July I took a holiday there with my Mum.

I thought as always I’d share this bucket list tick with you guys and tell you what I got up to on my holiday and if it was worth being on my bucket list!

We flew in at 10:45am and it took roughly 4 hours from Bristol airport. Immediately after arriving at the hotel we took a walk around the beautiful resort and my god, I was stunned. This place has the biggest salt water infinity pool in the whole of Europe and it really is just absolutely gorgeous.

Our room was just the standard room and was so spacious and had beautiful views from the balcony and window.

We opted to have room service because after being up so early and the resort being overwhelmingly big for the first night, we just decided it was easier. Plus you really can’t complain about eating in your hotel room when you have this view!

For this first evening, exploring the resort, I wore this missguided playsuit with my missguided bikini peeking underneath.

We went and had breakfast at the buffet. The buffet here didn’t have a lot of choice that was in my taste but I am pretty plain when it comes to food.

Then we decided to chill by the pool, my book of choice was I Owe You One by Sophie Kinsella.

We also spent our Saturday with some cocktails by the pool. We had a pina colada and a tequila sunrise.

I wandered around looking at some of the other pools. The main infinity pool is too gorgeous and the only pool I went in but it was so hard to take a picture of because it’s so big!

Here’s one of the others

I also had a little walk on the beach which is literally just a step away from the resort and I personally love rocky/black sand beaches. I couldn’t resist having a little dip in one of the rock pools too.

For lunch, we went to the Mediterranean restaurant in our resort which was included in our full board. I had caesar salad to start, hake for main and ice cream for dessert.

After chilling some more by the pool we went back to the hotel and got ready for the Teppanyaki restaurant called Nami. You get to go for free only once if you’re full board and I believe all inclusive too as it’s really expensive and such an experience. The dress code was elegant, so no swimwear or shorts.

The teppanyaki was absolutely gorgeous and there’s truly something so cool about watching your food theatrically getting prepared. This was my first Teppanyaki but now I MUST go to another!

We had 3 starters, miso soup, salad and rice. They were all so good but particularly the rice!

For the main, I went with chicken teriyaki and my mum went for lobster. The food didn’t picture well but my god was it yummy!

It was truly one of the nicest meals I’ve ever had and I would consider going back just for this meal!

We then had cocktails with this gorgeous view.

Of course day three included more walking around the huge resort.

We also decided that we wanted to head out of the resort for a little while. The most popular excursions in Tenerife include walking up a mountain, the water park and the zoo.

My mum has limited mobility and so the first two wouldn’t have been good for us and I just feel so uncomfortable going to zoos. I haven’t been in years and I don’t wish to go to one ever again. So, instead we decided to take a little trip to one of my favourite places! The hard rock hotel.

I’d never been to this one before but honestly, what a lovely little place! I loved the outside of it with this almighty colosseum looking vibe and massive fountains to the side of it.

The service and food as always was so nice, that’s just a consistent thing with all the hard rock cafes I’ve been to.

For starter, we had the potato skins which are always my go to.

For main, I had the classic club sandwich. Delish!

I also had a lovely Oreo cheesecake for dessert.

After the hard rock hotel, we chilled by the pool and had a nap. We went back to the Mediterranean for dinner and then had a couple of cocktails.

I’m such a bad blogger. This day was full of lazing around by the pool and just full of some much needed R&R.

The only picture I got of this day was the beautiful sunset at the beach in the evening.

Today was one of my most favourite days as we rented a Bali Bed by the insane infinity pool.

This meant we got a bed reserved for us all day and some premium loungers next to it. We were secluded from everyone else and had the best access to the pool.

We also got champagne, smoothies, water and fruit.

We spent the entire day here and absolutely loved it!

For the evening meal, we went to the gorgeous Italian in the resort.

We rented some loungers on the beach all day and went swimming and sunbathing.

We were feeling a little burned and also quite tired from all the sun so we ended up having room service and an early night.

This was another of my favourite days as we went to the spa!

To read up about my incredible spa treatment, find my blogpost all about it here.

We also went to the Italian again this night and I had the same yummy pizza.

Sadly this is where the fantastic trip ended. We had an absolutely lovely time, full of just straight up no nonsense CHILLIN’.

We got back into Bristol at 4pm and then got home and crashed.

I absolutely loved this resort and I’m so glad I decided to try another sensatori. In fact, I was that pleased with it that I’ve now put every single sensatori resort on my bucket list! I mean a girl can dream, right?

Thank you so much for reading! Drop me a comment letting me know if you’ve ever been to Tenerife or if you have ever been to a Sensatori resort? Where’s your next holiday/trip? I’d love to know.

What’s next?! I’ll be ticking off another bucket list item next week and I’m so excited to share my experience with you guys but until then thank you so much for reading and being part of my bucket list journey!
