Hey guys! If you’ve been on my blog before you’d know that it’s just one giant bucket list (my official ultimate bucket list can be found here.)
Which by the way, I update all the time by adding things on and ticking things off so I recommend checking somewhat regularly for never ending inspiration for creating (or adding to) your own bucket list.
Every time I’ve completed something on my bucket list I’ll be writing a blogpost about it.
No. 23 – See Muse Live ✔️
From an early age, I’ve always been a massive Muse fan and so my biggest wish was to see them live. It’s been on my bucket list for years so to finally see them was truly a dream.
I saw Muse yesterday which was Wednesday 5th June 2019 at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol for their Simulation Theory Tour.
Although the show wasn’t sold out the atmosphere and the crowd was still incredible. Even in seating there was such a buzz and electric feeling.
Muse sounded even better live than they do digital which unfortunately from learning first-hand isn’t always the case at concerts.
Not only was the music INCREDIBLE, they really put on a show with such a great display of lighting, the visuals on the screen, robots, dancers, dancers HANGING FROM THE SCREEN and a massive skull robot thaaaang coming out of the stage at the end. This show visually blew my mind just as much as the incredible vocals and music.
The videos below do contain flashing lights, just a heads up! 🙂
The set-list in my opinion was perfect. A fantastic mix of classics and newer songs. The set-list was as follows:
1) Algorithm
2) Pressure
3) Pyscho
4) Break It to Me
5) Uprising
6) Propaganda
7) Plug In Baby
8) Pray
9) The Dark Side
10) Super Massive Black Hole
11) Thought Contagion
12) Interlude
13) Hysteria
14) The 2nd Law: Unsustainable
15) Dig Down
16) Undisclosed Desires
17) Madness
18) Mercy
19) Time is Running Out
20) Houston Jam
21) Take a Bow
22) Prelude
23) Starlight
24) Algorithm
25) Stockholm Syndrome/Assassin/Reapers/The Handler/New Born
26) Knights of Cydonia
As you can see, this was a really extensive set list and I feel like most Muse fans would be really satisfied with their picks.
I would definitely class this as one of my most memorable concerts, I never usually rate seating at a concert as my favourite because I’m just a standing kind of gal but it was still so amazing and electric.
I really liked the venue too, seeing a light orange sky during the orange lights and screen display during Supermassive Black Hole was just so pretty.
If you’d like to view more videos of the concert please feel free to have a gander over on my Instagram which is @abucketlistbabe.
TO CONCLUDE:
I had such a special time watching Muse with my Mum and I’m so glad that I finally got to tick this off my bucket list as they were every bit as good as I knew they’d be.
Please leave me a comment telling me if you’re a fan of Muse! What’s your favourite Muse song? If not, let me know a concert you’ve been to and loved or perhaps your first ever concert! I’d love to know!
Thank you soooo much for reading.

It is great that you got to see Muse live! I LOVE their music! I’m glad you enjoyed your time out there and that you got to cross off another bucketlist item. Ooooh, it is so funny that one of my favorite songs from them is the last one listed. My top favorite is City of Delusion. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on knocking something off your bucket list! It’s an incredible feeling getting to see a band that you love live – I know when we went to see Guns N Roses I had a similar feeling.
