Hey guys! If you’ve been on my blog before you’d know that it’s just one giant bucket list (my official ultimate bucket list can be found here.)
Which by the way, I update all the time by adding things on and ticking things off so I recommend checking somewhat regularly for never ending inspiration for creating (or adding to) your own bucket list.
Every time I’ve completed something on my bucket list I’ll be writing a blogpost about it.
Bucket list items can come big or small. It can be as simple as going to a local bar you’ve wanted to go to before or as big as staying in an over water bungalow in the Maldives.
This weekend I went for a few cocktails with my friend in Bristol and managed to tick off two bars so I thought as always I’d share my thoughts on them. I’ll also throw in some cocktails that weren’t on my bucket list but are equally as pretty and bucket list worthy.
No.159 – Go to Aluna Bar ✔️
For quite a while I’ve wanted to go to Aluna in Bristol. They have pretty cool cocktails and it’s right by the harbour side so particularly nice on a sunny weekend.
The cocktails pictured are The Deadly Elixir (Classic Rum punch with a kick of overproof tiki fire – £12.95) and the Flaming Ginberries (Beefeater, Hayman’s Sloe, Blueberry, Cranberry and Lime – £7.95)
They both set on fire which is pretty cool and they tasted AMAZING. Particularly The Deadly Elixir which tastes non-alcoholic and so fruity (pretty dangerous, huh?)
Aluna bar is a chain and can be found in either Bristol or Birmingham.
No. 12 – Go to the Florist ✔️
Another bar on my bucket list was the florist. The florist did not disappoint. It’s a super pretty bar/restaurant filled with floral displays and neon lights.
The drinks pictured are the Raspberry Rose Sour (Cîroc Red Berry vodka, prickly pear liqueur, Lanique Spirit of Rose petal liqueur, cranberry juice, lemon juice and geranium syrup £8.25) and the Peaches & Prosecco (Aperol, wild peach liqueur, Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato, peach and white grape juice, peach bitters, fresh mint and Prosecco £8.75.)
They again both tasted really nice and I’d go there again to try some more. They have a The Florist in Liverpool, Watford and Bristol.
A couple of other bars we went to were:
Pitcher & Piano
Pictured is a Pornstar Martini £8.95 and The Butterfly Effect £8.75 (Masons Lavender gin, Maraschino liqueur, butterfly pea flower tea, Ms. Better’s Bitters Miraculous Foamer, sugar syrup and lemon juice.)
They have pitcher & piano nationwide.
Be at One
My favourite ever cocktail at Be at One is the Buenot (Kahlúa Salted Caramel, Mozart white chocolate cream liqueur, White Kinder Bueno and Vanilla ice cream) delicious!
Be at One can also be found nationwide.
Another bucket list item ticked. What’s next?! I’ll be ticking off another bucket list item next week and I’m so excited to share my experience with you guys but until then thank you so much for reading and being part of my bucket list journey!
Thank you so much for reading! Please leave a comment telling me which of these cocktails you’d most like to try and what your favourite cocktails/cocktail bars are as I’d love some recommendations.
